Calling Journalists, Lawyers & Activists to join KeralaExpose.org; Request to share the Newsletters and Social Media Posts - X, Insta and Threads

By Admin / Oct 17, 2025

The KeralaExpose.org Leadership Team is calling JOURNALISTS, LAWYERS, and ACTIVISTS to join the KeralaExpose.org Team by signing up online at JOIN - https://keralaexpose.org/apply.

We, the KeralaExpose.org Leadership Team are reaching out to you - the journalists (with an investigative mind), lawyers (with public defending bend), and committed activists (with courage to stand up to the illegitimately rich and illegitimately powerful) who wants to make a positive change - who recognize that systemic acceptance of wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption and scams cannot be fought in silos.

We formed KeralaExpose.org, a collaborative platform and network, dedicated to pooling talent, resources, and evidence to uncover and expose complex wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams across Kerala. It will be our endeavour to expose the unexposed (hidden and suppressed) scams successfully covered up by the illegitimately rich and illegitimately powerful enroute their road to getting rich and powerful illegitimately.

Our mission is simple. It is to move beyond traditional reporting and individual case work by establishing a unified front that ensures powerful interests, especially the illegitimately rich and legitimately powerful, are held accountable. We tread a path of taking up one expose (of wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption and scams) at one time and then seeing it through till it is taken to logical conclusion under the prevailing laws, rules and regulations in Kerala (& India) and the perpetrators of the wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption and scams are brought under the long arms of the law.

The most challenging stories always require more than just one skill set. They demand the journalistic ability to research and frame the narrative, the legal expertise to ensure accuracy and impact, and the activist's drive to ensure the findings lead to tangible change in the society.

We need your expertise and network. KeralaExpose.org needs your expertise and network. Kerala needs your expertise and network.

To provide the rigorous research, data analysis, and compelling storytelling required to make complex investigations accessible and undeniable to the public.

To offer crucial advice on all kinds of legal risks including defamation risk, public records law, official secrets act, and compliance (with applicable laws, rules, and regulations) and in ensuring every piece of evidence in every story (report) exposed is airtight and legally sound for maximum impact.

To contribute on-the-ground intelligence, local context, and strategic planning for the release and dissemination of investigative reports exposing wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams across Kerala, initiate and sustain advocacy campaigns to bring regulatory, investigative and prosecutorial actions against those who perpetrate wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams across Kerala, and translating the investigative reports into policy reforms, corrective changes and public action.

Investigative reporters and networks like KeralaExpose.org often get tips from a diverse range of sources, often relying on confidential relationships and meticulous, proactive research to uncover stories of public importance.

The main ways an investigative reporter gets tips and story ideas include:

The cornerstone of investigative journalism is cultivating a network of trusted human sources.

Whistleblowers and Insiders: People with internal knowledge (e.g., current, or former employees, government officials, associates, partners in crime etc.) who have information about wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams, or systemic failures. These sources often seek anonymity due to fear of reprisal.

Regular Citizens: Tips can come from the general public via secure channels (like encrypted email or dedicated tip lines) provided by the news organization. A good tip is typically specific, includes potential evidence (documents, photos), and reveals information not yet publicly known.

Routine Reporting Contacts: Developing relationships with contacts on a regular beat (e.g., bureaucracy, police, courts etc.) can lead them to share something they believe warrants deeper investigation.

KeralaExpose.org call upon Keralites (Malayalis) to share with us evidence of wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams which the illegitimately rich and illegitimately powerful have succeeded in hiding from the Kerala Society and the arms of law. We assure you that your inputs will be retained with the fullest confidence and secrecy and if found to be true post our investigation and research, we will expose such illegal wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams to the public, media and authorities in Kerala.

2. Analysis of Public Records and Data

Investigative reporters are skilled in digging through public-facing information for inconsistencies, anomalies, or red flags that point to potential wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams.

Documents: Scrutiny of official records like court filings, police reports, property deeds, tax records, regulatory reports, corporate financial filings, and election campaign finance disclosures.

Data Journalism: Analysing large public datasets (e.g., government spending, demographics, health statistics) to spot trends or outliers that suggest a problem.

Right to Information (RTI) Requests: Using public records laws (like the Right to Information Act, 2005) to legally compel government agencies to release documents or information.

Many investigations are an organic outgrowth of an investigative journalist's daily work.

Following Up on Leads: A tip that initially seems small or part of a daily story might lead to a larger, systemic problem when researched further and expose wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams.

Connecting the Dots: The reporter notices a pattern or repeated issue across different smaller stories they or others have reported, prompting a dedicated investigation into the root cause exposing wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams.

Editor Assignments: While often initiated by the reporter, an editor may suggest an investigation based on an ongoing major news event, a known issue in the community, or a general area of public concern.

Sometimes the initial spark comes from simply being observant and asking questions about things that "just don't look right" in a community or system.

Directly observing situations, such as monitoring a location or attending public meetings, can provide the first lead.

Consulting academics and experts in a field for a deeper, fact-based understanding of a problem or area before starting to investigate.

We need your, the ordinary citizen's - the common man and woman - of Kerala, engagement, and support to take up investigations of suppressed and hidden wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams across Kerala. Almost always, wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams are perpetrated in secrecy and the human chain connecting the wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams are sworn to secrecy for fear, greed, intimidation, threat etc. KeralaExpose.org can get access to data, information, evidence and proof of wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams only when someone in the human chain connected with the wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams knowingly or unknowingly spill the beans (mention about it) to someone who then takes it up to expose it in the public domain.

So, we encourage all Keralites (Malayalees) to use the KeralaExpose.org platform and network to expose wrongdoings, criminal acts, fraudulent acts, nepotism, corruption, and scams which are hidden and suppressed especially by the illegitimately rich and illegitimately powerful.

Apply and join the KeralaExpose.org Network
